Fiery crash in Portmore leaves one dead, several injured

Tragedy struck Independence City yesterday as a fiery collision left one dead and several others hospitalised.

The crash, which tore apart a Nissan AD wagon and a Honda Stream, occurred at the busy intersection of Passagefort Drive and Cumberland Boulevard stoplight.

The exact time of the smash remains unknown.

The injured were rushed to hospital, while police cordoned off the area and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deadly accident.
